Seminars in India highlight

Denmark as a springboard to the Nordics

2011.11.28

Denmark is home to 15 Indian companies and there is room for more. With Denmark full of small and midsize enterprises, small and midsized Indian companies should look further into the opportunities of offering their unique onsite-offshore model to Danish clients and consider how Denmark could be an ideal Nordic hub for sales, marketing and operations support.

Nasscom, the organisation presenting the Indian software industry, and Price Waterhouse Coopers identified the Nordic region in their Nordic report of 2009 as the next untapped opportunity for Indian IT companies and as a potential entry point into Continental Europe, a region that has so far been a challenge for Indian companies to operate in due to cultural and regulatory issues. The report estimated that the IT services market in the Nordics was between 10-12 BN USD, and Indian companies was only getting a meagre five per cent of the pie.

Three seminars put focus on the opportunities for Indian companies in Denmark.

They will take place:

·         Monday 28 November 2011 in Pune

·         Wednesday 30 November, 2011 in Hyderabad

·         Friday 2 December 2011 in Chennai
