AmCham's Foreign Investor Summit 2013

Copenhagen, 5 September

This years focus: incentives as a tool to attract investments

AmCham Denmark’s 2013 Foreign Investor Summit will be hosted by Invest in Denmark at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' conference center ‘Eigtveds Pakhus’.

This annual summit highlights the vital role international companies play in the Danish economy, bringing together business leaders, governmental decision makers and foreign investment stakeholders to discuss how Denmark can improve its ability to attract and retain foreign investments.

This year’s program will explore how incentives can be utilized to attract investments and will feature a keynote speech by newly appointed Danish Minister for Trade and European Affairs, Nick Hækkerup.

There will be presentations on concrete investment decisions by several companies and a debate on how to increase investments in Denmark with Kristian Jensen (V) and Mette Reissmann (S).

Additionally, AmCham will present the results of its 2013 Business Barometer, key findings from the latest edition of ‘The Case for Investing in Europe’ and the potential benefits of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership – the so-called “T-TIP”.
