Copenhagen's Bella Center hosts major Oracle conference and exhibition

Jyllands-Posten reports that the 3-day IT conference OracleWorld opens today at Bella Center, Denmark's premier conference and exhibition facility. According to Oracle, it is the biggest conference that Copenhagen has hosted to date. Besides the paying guests, some 1500 Oracle personnel from Europe, the Middle East and Africa will attend along with several hundred analysts and press folk. In addition 2000 students from Danish universities and colleges will have free access to the conference, courtesy of Oracle.


OracleWorld is a tri-annual conference where users and customers meet to hear the latest news, exchange information and share experience. Besides Copenhagen, the other OracleWorld venues this year are Beijing and San Francisco. Oracle today ranks second only to Microsoft as a software producer.
