82% of Danes have general internet access, with 51% from a home PC.

Jyllands-Posten reports today that 82% of Danes now have general access to the internet, with 51% having access from a home PC. The research, conducted by Nielsen/Netratings, shows that on a worldwide scale 24 million people accessed the internet from their homes in Q4 2001, bringing the year total to 498 million. The fourth quarter increase was considerably higher than in the previous quarter. It has been separately estimated that Denmark has more PCs per capita than any other country in the world
