Carlsberg and Danisco Venture put DKK 25 million into Danish biotech company
A group of investors including Carlsberg and Danisco Venture has put DKK 25 million (USD 3.2 million) into the Danish biotech company BioLogic. The capital injection will enable the company to triple its workforce under the leadership of a newly appointed managing director with proven skills in company start-ups and strategic planning in the biotech sector. BioLogic uses microorganisms to produce fragrances and other ingredients for the food industry, pharmaceutical intermediary products and fine chemicals. The news is reported in Jyllands-Posten today.
