Danish and Indian PMs to sign biotech agreement easing market access for commerce and research
The Danish and Indian Prime Ministers are to sign a biotech cooperation agreement this Friday. The agreement is part of a business summit between EU and India which is currently taking place in Copenhagen. More than 200 senior business leaders from Europe and India are participating. The biotech cooperation agreement between Denmark and India will ease access to each others markets by removing a number of bureaucratic barriers for companies, universities, exchange students and researchers. Denmark has a high level of interest in the Indian biotechnology sector, which is seen as having enormous market potential, especially in the area of vaccines. The news is reported in Berlingske Tidende today.
