Danish IT company lands major US order  

Aarhus based CCI Europe gains large value order from Knight Ridder in the US

According to a report in Jyllands-Posten, Aarhus based IT company CCI Europe has landed its biggest order to date. The order is reportedly worth several hundred million kroner and comes from Knight Ridder, the second biggest newspaper publisher in the US. Earlier this year CCI Europe sealed a multimillion deal with the New York Times Company to supply more than 1000 copies of its NewsDesk Release 6 software.


CCI has a 40 per cent market share among the biggest US newspapers, and has already supplied its software to The Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times and USA Today. In Europe CCI has sold its editorial solutions to De Telegraaf in Holland, Axel Springer Verlag in Germany, and the Danish national daily newspapers Jyllands-Posten, Politiken and Ekstra Bladet. The company has regional offices in Atlanta, Frankfurt and Paris.
