Danish IT security group gains multimillion investment

International investors put DKK 32.5 million into Bridicum Security Group

A group of international investors has put DKK 32.5 million (USD 4.3 million) into the Danish IT security company Bridicum. The capital injection will be used to consolidate in Scandinavia and further develop Bridicum's security service Digital Watchman (Den Digitale Vægter), and to establish a subsidiary in the UK. Copenhagen-based Bridicum Security Group develops, sells and delivers product services within the IT security sector: managed security monitoring, testing, information, consultation and training against hackers and IT crime.

Digital Watchman is a 24/7 service that tests and monitors the security of companies' IT and tele systems, for example firewalls, web and mail servers and applications. News of the investment deal was reported in Computerworld today.
