Danish IT security system attracts international interest

Jutland based Security Point launches its SP Scanner product in US, Australia, Italy and Norway

Jyllands-Posten Online reports that a recently introduced IT surveillance system from Vejle-based Security Point has now been launched through partner agreements in the US, Australia, Italy and Norway. The system, called SP Scanner, has been developed from scratch over a four year period and does not contain any third party programmes. SP Scanner continuously monitors the customer's IT systems and checks for over 3,000 individual vulnerabilities. In 95% of cases SP Scanner finds system loopholes. It then reports the findings and suggests ways of closing the loopholes.

Security Point's first customers were SMEs in Denmark, but following the development of international partnerships SP Scanner has come to the attention of a considerably larger market including companies with several hundred employees. International governments and their armed forces have also expressed interest in the Danish system.
