Danish biotech companies meet Belgian counterparts at major conference in Brussels

TV2 Online reports that Danish biotech companies are currently meeting their Belgian counterparts at a conference in Brussels, as part of a state visit to Belgium by Her Majesty Queen Margrethe and HRH Prince Henrik. The Danish Trade Council and the Danish Chamber of Commerce are key players in the initiative, which is taking place 28 to 30 May.

The conference involves 125 Belgian and 21 Danish biotech companies, representing around 25% and 10% respectively of the countries' biotech sectors. The aim is to explore potential cooperation partnerships, and interest in the event has been strongly encouraged by the fact that Danish and Belgian participants have been able to meet in advance via a shared website. This concept has been clearly shown to have great advantages and will be used in future trade initiatives.
