Denmark attracts investment interest following recent seminars in China and Japan

Following a seminar hosted by Invest in Denmark in Shenzhen, China last week, several Chinese companies have expressed their intention to form partnerships with Danish companies and universities. Key areas of interest from the Chinese participants were Denmark's R&D strengths in proteomics and robotics - both of which have their core competencies centred on the University of Southern Denmark.

In parallel with the event in China, Invest in Denmark has co-hosted its largest Life Sciences seminar to date in Japan. Leading Danish companies and universities presented cutting edge technologies and met with 50 Japanese companies during the week-long programme. Several of the Danish participants continued to Kansai - the traditional centre of the Japanese pharmaceutical industry - to join a seminar organised by Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
