Systematic Software Engineering is first Danish company to gain Level 3 CMM certification

Daily broadsheet Jyllands-Posten reports that Aarhus-based Systematic Software Engineering has become the first Danish company to gain Level 3 certification according to the highly respected Capability Maturity Model (CMM). Only around 50 companies worldwide have so far gained this prestigious accolade, notable names among them being NASA, Motorola, Boeing and Kodak.

Systematic's process improvement system is described as "world class and amongst the very best". The company has used 35,000 man hours and 5 years of effort to trim its processes to the exceptionally rigorous CMM standards. Systematic hopes that the certification will qualify them to participate in seeking orders for software development for the next generation US fighter aircraft, JSF.
