Aalborg University to start dedicated degree course in software engineering

Financial daily Børsen reports that Aalborg University in northern Jutland is to offer a new type of degree exclusively focused on software engineering. The move has come in response to requests from a number of companies in the Danish IT Association for more graduates to meet increasing demands in this area. The course of study includes high level programming and software development as well as IT-associated organisational and management disciplines. The degree course, which starts in September, will accept up to 30 students.
