ICT company Eterra says that all the infrastructure is in place and ready for July 1

Eterra, a leading player in the Nordic information and communication technology (ICT) market, says that all workstations, networks and communication lines are ready for the army of journalists, politicians and civil servants who will be heading for Denmark when the country takes over the presidency of the EU on July 1.

According to Børsen Online, Eterra was chosen by the Danish Foreign Ministry last year to take responsibility for the total IT operation during the country's EU presidency. Eterra will be supplying Denmark's most advanced mobile IT set-up, where infrastructure, control and monitoring of up to 6,000 work stations are supplied in 3 mobile units. TDC, Denmark's biggest telecoms company, is responsible for telephony and internet connections.
