Genmab finds recruitment easy

Genmab reports at least 10 qualified local applicants for each new post

According to an article in today's national newspaper Politiken, biotech company Genmab is experiencing no difficulty in recruiting locally, and says there are never less than 10 qualified applicants for each job it advertises. Over the last three years Genmab has increased the number of employees in Demark from 3 to 111, and at the end of this year the company expects the figure to be close to 180.

Genmab is an offshoot of the US company Medarex. The biopharmaceutical company develops antibody based drugs for the treatment of various debilitating diseases including cancer. Genmab has been highly successful in attracting investors and currently has capital resources of DKK 1.6 billion for research.
