Danish IT companies have strong presence at world No.1 IT show

46 Danish companies, of which 24 are exhibiting in a shared IT showroom "The Danish Meeting Point" are participating in the world's largest IT exhibition CeBIT, which opens today in Hannover, Germany. Altogether 8,316 companies are due to exhibit in 28 halls covering nearly half a million square metres, and this year's event is expected to attract up to 1 million visitors.

The Danish Ambassador to Germany, Gunnar Ortmann, and the Director of the Danish Trade Council, Birger Riis-Jørgensen, will both be present at the opening of the week long event. Invest in Denmark will be represented by Maiken Schultz, Project Manager for IT/Telecoms at the Copenhagen Central Office and Niels Kaae, Technology Attaché at the Paris Office.
