New York Times chooses Danish software  

Danish IT company CCI seals major software deal

Danish broadsheet Jyllands-Posten reported Saturday that the Aarhus-based IT company CCI Europe A/S has sealed a multimillion deal with the New York Times Company to supply more than 1000 copies of its NewsDesk Release 6 software to be used by journalists for writing and editing articles.

CCI has a 40 per cent market share among the biggest US newspapers, and has already supplied its software to The Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times and USA Today. In Europe CCI has sold its editorial solutions to De Telegraaf in Holland, Axel Springer Verlag in Germany, and the Danish national daily newspapers Jyllands-Posten, Politiken and Ekstra Bladet.
