New research from the Central Statistics Office reveals widespread internet usage across age groups
New research from the Central Statistical Office (Danmarks Statistik) shows that one in four Danes now use the internet on a daily basis. The survey data shows that internet access is well spread across age groups, from 16 years to 60 years. Purchasing via the net is also active, with 27% of the population having made at least one purchase during the last year. Lower prices and time saving were among the most important motivating factors for internet purchasing. The survey was based on the results of 1000 telephone interviews conducted between April and June this year.
