Research shows strong growth in Danish e_trade

New government research shows that e-trade is picking up momentum in both private and business sectors
New research from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation reveals that Danish e-trade has grown strongly over the last two years. 80% of Danish e-trade is B2B (Business to Business), where there is a general expectation that increased use of the internet as a sales channel will reduce costs and create greater visibility in the market. Consumer interest has also risen in parallel with this development. The research additionally shows that Denmark is now among the European leaders for the proportion of companies with a website, and offering employees access to the internet at work. The news is reported by Computerworld today.
