Aarhus based hosting company almost trebles its turnover

Estructure.net is expected to post a 2002 turnover figure of DKK 22 million compared with DKK 8 million in 2001

Fledgling Aarhus-based hosting company Estructure.net is expected to post a 2002 turnover figure that almost trebles its 2001 performance, from DKK 8 million (USD 1.1 million) to more than DKK 22 million (USD 3.1 million). In just two years of existence Estructure.net has established itself on a European level with heavyweight customers such as Nike and Nintendo. Estructure.net handled Nintendo's web services when the company launched Gamecube and Nike's web services at the FIFA World Cup in Japan/South Korea last year. Investors in the company include Internet Ventures Scandinavia (IVS) and TDC. They injected DKK 8 million in a cash and refunding deal last November.

Estructure.net specialises in hosting and monitoring large web systems on a 24/7 basis. Its customers are international companies. The systems are hosted on HP servers monitored by HP programmes on which Estructure.net has developed a web-based monitoring system. Because it is module based, this gives the system a special flexibility whereby customers can either leave all monitoring to Estructure.net or purchase individual modules and handle the rest themselves. The news is reported in Computerworld.
