E-learning software supplier Danish Probe has gained its largest order ever from Canon’s EMEA office

The e-learning software supplier Danish Probe has gained its largest order ever from Canon’s EMEA (Europe Middle East and Africa) office. It is actually a major extension of an existing order since Canon EMEA has previously purchased Danish Probe’s main product ABC Academy and uses this programme for internal teaching in the Canon organisation. According to the MD of Danish Probe the new contract means that besides using e-learning for training internal personnel and dealers, Canon now has the option to launch e-learning via Danish Probe’s software for up to 3 million end users.

Danish Probe was founded in 1996 as a spin-off from the Copenhagen Business School. In 2001 the company had a turnover of DKK 3.8 million (USD 550,000); with the new order it is expected to reach a turnover of approximately DKK 40 million (USD 5.8 million) in 2003. Besides Canon, Danish Probe’s customers include Kuwait Petroleum and Microsoft Business Solutions. The news is reported by Computerworld.
