Copenhagen introduces digital signatures for electronic self-service to enable its citizens to do business with local government
Copenhagen is introducing digital signatures for electronic self-service to enable its citizens to do business with local government from comfort of their living rooms. Copenhageners can use their digital signature for a wide range of self-services, from application for day care and healthcare waiting list inspections to claiming rent allowance. The digital signature also provides the simplicity of a single access key for all future electronic communications with the local authorities, and takes Copenhagen's self-service a major step forward towards digitalisation of paperwork.
