Danish development department of Orion Information Services enters agreement with USA's largest mobile telephone operator AT&T

The Danish development department of the IT company Orion Information Services (OIS) has entered a collaboration agreement with the mobile telephone operator AT&T concerning access to AT&T's mobile network. OIS can now transfer services and content used in Denmark such as ringing tones and logos to customers and partners in the US. The agreement enables customers of the three largest mobile operators in the US, AT&T, Verizon and Cingular to have mobile SMS contact across their network via OIS services. Together the three mobile operators account for 80% of the SMS market in USA.

OIS Denmark was established in 2002 by two Danish entrepreneurs and is the first company on the US market to own a 4 digit short code for a 2 way SMS which can be used across teleoperators. OIS creates media concepts with content for the web and mobile phones. The news is reported by Computerworld online and Pressbox online.
