Danish IT industry adds more value, reveals government report

The Danish IT industry welcomes new government report showing that IT accounts for 9% of Denmark's revenues

The Danish IT industry has welcomed a new government report, which among other things reveals that IT accounts for 9% of Denmark's revenues. Director of the IT industry association Jakob Lyngsø commented "This is positive news for our sector. The report confirms that Danish IT is in much better shape than estimates over the last couple of years have suggested. IT workers are creating added value that is well over the average."

Lyngsø warns however against any temptation for the industry to rest on its laurels. "We need investment to develop the workforce and companies in our sector and so remain competitive. I am certain that competence development and strengthened networks will be the priorities in the coming years" he adds. The news is reported by Børsen Online News.
