According to Microsoft's Danish .Net division, 13 per cent of software developers in Denmark are currently working on creating 'dot Net' based solutions

According to Microsoft's Danish .Net division, 13 per cent of software development houses in Denmark are currently working on creating 'dot Net' based solutions. And 17 per cent of the suppliers' customers are today running applications or servers developed on the platform. The news is reported by TV2.

 

Servers and applications developed on the .Net platform are presently most widespread in large companies, where they are mainly used to provide integration between business applications such as Customer Relations Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Industrywise it is the banking sector that has so far made most active use of the platform.
