IT analysis company IDC forecasts that the Danish IT industry will grow faster in 2003 than in the other Nordic countries

IT analysis company IDC forecasts that the Danish IT industry will grow faster in 2003 than in the other Nordic countries. Norway is projected to have the slowest overall growth – the number of IT company bankruptcies is climbing in Norway while in Denmark the number is receding.

The relatively high sector growth in Denmark is due to the fact that small and medium size enterprises (SMEs) are enjoying the fastest rates of progress, and Denmark is fortunate to have plenty of them. For its part, IDC is encouraging IT suppliers to work out strategies for how to contact smaller companies to sell their products. The news is reported by Computerworld online.
