The Danish and US companies will jointly market systems that enable service providers to sell IP telephony more effectively

Roskilde-based Digiquant, a global provider of software solutions for the communications industry, has entered a co-marketing agreement with the US company Network Equipment Technologies, Inc. which trades as net.com. The two companies will jointly market systems that enable service providers to sell IP telephony more effectively. Network Equipment Technologies will make the hardware, while Digiquant will develop a software solution that authorises and bills for network usage.

Digiquant's director of channel development Henrik Gustavsson commented "This agreement is a culmination of a relationship that has blossomed over the last year. Both companies offer very strong standalone products. Together, we deliver a very strong value proposition."

Digiquant delivers an IMS solution which enables service providers to be more efficient and better positioned for growth. More than 70 major telecommunications companies and service providers use IMS worldwide to manage and bill for service delivery. Network Equipment Technologies, Inc. develops and delivers service creation platforms for broadband, Internet protocol telephony, and multiservice networks.
