Intersystems Corporation sets up Nordic office in Copenhagen  

The US database supplier establishes a Nordic office in Copenhagen as a prelude to forging new partnerships

US database supplier Intersystems Corporation, which sells the database Caché, has established a Nordic office in Copenhagen. Intersystems' database is used by a number of different sectors including healthcare, financial services and manufacturing. A number of Scandinavian companies and institutions are already using its systems.


MD of Intersystems' Danish office Henrik Steen Madsen says that the company is looking for partners interested in developing their own systems. The US company was founded in 1978 by physicist Terry Ragon, who still heads the firm which is headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Intersystems has more than 4 million users in 88 countries. The news is reported by Computerworld online.
