Microsoft in new Danish alliance

Danish IT company Estructure seals deal to run Microsoft’s Navision and Axapta systems

Danish IT company Estructure has entered a cooperation agreement with Microsoft on running the iconic software giant’s Navision and Axapta systems for companies using them. MD of Microsoft Business Solutions in Denmark, Søren Fink-Jensen, says that there is an increasing desire from many companies to appoint cooperation partners to run their IT systems for them, which is why Microsoft also wants to offer this option to their customers.

Estructure, based in Aarhus Jutland, already runs comprehensive web solutions for customers including Nike and Nintendo, so the new agreement could herald a European breakthrough for the company. According to the director of hosting activities in Estructure Torben Bach Sørensen, the cooperation with Microsoft will start in Denmark, but the company expects to be able to offer the solution to the rest of Europe very soon. The news is reported by daily newspaper Jyllands-Posten.
