Private investors pump millions into Danish software company SiteCore

13 private investors linked to MVI Danmark invest in SiteCore, which develops CMS systems

Danish software company SiteCore, which develops content management systems (CMS), has received a multimillion cash injection from 13 private investors. The money will be used to accelerate the continued growth in Denmark where the objective is to become the largest player on the CMS market within a year, and also to introduce SiteCore’s product to a number of North European countries.

 

Copenhagen based SiteCore was founded in 2001. Their product SiteCore is a technological internet development platform based on W3C Standards and Microsoft. Net. SiteCore's customers include ABN AMRO, Danmarks Radio, Perstorp, NKT Cables GmbH, Nilfisk and SimCorp. The 13 investors are private business people who are connected to the investment organisation MVI Danmark, a part of Merchant Ventures Investment Group.
