RTX Telecom in multimillion deal with Australia's FOXTEL  

The Danish technology company will handle development and production f a wireless telephone line extension (TLE)

Danish technology company RTX Telecom has entered a multimillion agreement with the Australian pay-TV supplier FOXTEL concerning development, production and delivery of a wireless telephone line extension (TLE). The TLE will ease the use of the Pay-Per-View function and also promote the application of other interactive services which are available for users of digital satellite receivers and set-up-boxes.


According to the agreement, the responsibility for development and production has been handed over to RTX Telecom while FOXTEL will handle sales, distribution and after sales service. The agreement is expected to have a positive influence on RTX Telecom's turnover and profits for the financial years 2003/04 and 2004/05. The management's expectations for the financial year 2003/04 will be presented in connection with the public announcement of RTX Telecom's annual report in December 2003. The news is reported by financial daily newspaper Børsen online.
