Denmark's No.2 mobile operator launches a new service solution with End2End, which gets another cash boost from its US and German owners

Denmark's second largest mobile operator Sonofon has launched its Sonofon e.go service solution together with End2End, a leading managed service provider for mobile data services. Sonofon e•go is a branded user interface client that gives Sonofon end-users easy access to content and services directly from the handset instead of having to recall specific SMS text codes.

Meanwhile End2End has received another major cash injection from its German and American owners worth DKK 75 million (USD 11.8 million). The main mover behind the investment is the US venture company Draper Fisher Jurvetson based in Silicon Valley, California. The final part of the investment is a result of loan conversion into invested capital.

End2End MD Søren Ravn says the current investment is due to a market hike and new incoming customer segments such as mobile internet portals. Ravn succeeds End2End's former MD Tage Rasmussen who has joined mobile company MSI, but still remains an End2End board member. The news is reported by regional daily newspaper Nordjyske.
