Actebis Denmark receives multimillion sum from its German parent company

The rapidly growing IT distributor Actebis Denmark has received DKK 30 million to strengthen its equity

The IT distributor Actebis Denmark has received DKK 30 million (USD 4.8 million) from its German parent company to strengthen its equity. At the end of 2003, Actebis Denmark's equity was DKK 20 million (USD 3.2 million). According to Torben Qvist, managing director of Actebis Denmark that sum is too small when annual revenues are getting close to DKK 2 billion (USD 320 million).

 

For four years in succession Actebis Denmark has generated 50% growth in turnover, and in the first six months of 2004 sales have increased by 40%. In 2003 the company's turnover amounted to DKK 1.6 billion (USD 256 million). To keep up with the growth, the Danish division has also employed 12 more people making the total workforce 115. The news is reported by Computerworld online.
