The Danish biotech firm has outgrown in current premises and is building a new and larger base in Copenhagen

Biotech company CMC Biopharmaceuticals has invested a multimillion sum in building a new domicile in Copenhagen. The 4 storey building contains offices, laboratories and ultra-modern pharmaceutical production facilities. CMC has increased its turnover well in excess of forecast and has rapidly outgrown its current premises in Symbion Science Park.

CMC is a Contract Manufacturing Organisation (CMO) making drugs for large international pharmaceutical companies, including the major Danish pharma concern Lundbeck, and specialises in producing proteins and antibodies at a high level of purity. The company currently employs 65 people, generating a turnover which is undisclosed but clearly growing apace.
