COLT Telecom in Denmark generates strong growth in turnover

The British company COLT Telecom has published its annual report which shows 150% growth in turnover in its Danish division in 2003. COLT Telecom was established in Denmark in 2001 and has made continued progress. In 2003, the company generated a turnover of DKK 98.4 million (USD 16.7 million) compared to DKK 38.3 million (USD 6.5 million) in 2002.

 

Jesper Weng, managing director of COLT Telecom says in a press release that growth in turnover has given a positive signal that Danish companies are becoming aware of Colt Telecom's solutions in telecoms and network services. The parent company Colt Telecom Group which has divisions in 13 European countries generated a 14% growth in total turnover in 2003 compared to 2002, from DKK 11.36 billion (USD 1.9 billion) in 2002 to 12.90 billion (USD 2.2 billion) in 2003. The news is reported by national newspaper Jyllands-Posten online.
