Vikingegaarden, a Danish IT company based in Jutland, has gained an order from the South African company N&Z Instrumentation

Vikingegaarden, a Danish IT company based in Jutland, has gained an order from the South African company N&Z Instrumentation which will sell Vikingegaarden's hardware and software to constructors and production companies. Ulrik Østergaard, director of Vikingegaarden, says the order is a showcase for the use of the company's technology concept worldwide.

 

Vikingegaarden specialises in monitoring equipment and processes via a data logger that transmits data values from production etc via PCs, mobile phones or handheld computers. Ulrik Østergaard says that monitoring and data retrieval by means of telephone lines and mobile telephony is well-known, but Vikingegaarden's system is accessible via the internet and all data is transmitted via GPRS making it available all over the world. The news is reported by Computerworld.

 

Vikingegaarden was established in 1996 and specialises in automation, web based solutions, communication, control, data retrieval, design and advanced programming.
