The Danish subsidiary of the US storage company Veritas saw a 20% growth in sales in 2003 according to Computerworld online which reports the news. The Danish sales company was established in 1999 and is responsible for the markets in Denmark, Norway and Finland. In 2003, Veritas increased its market share for data storage software to 36% in Denmark, the highest market share compared to other suppliers in that area.

 

Veritas says the increased sales have continued in the first two quarters of 2004 with even higher growth rates than in 2003, and the company is planning to employ more people. Veritas' customers include over 200 municipalities and major companies such as TDC and Novo Nordisk. The parent company is headquartered in Mountain View, California and employs more than 6,700 people in 40 countries.
