Transvision has won a contract with the German gas concern Linde AG to supply logistics software to Linde's administrative transport systems

Danish software developer Tranvision has won a contract with the German gas concern Linde AG to supply logistics software to Linde AG's administrative transport systems. Transvision went through a long process in competition with large US and European companies before it won the contract. When the solution is fully integrated, it will control more than 1,000 vehicles in Europe and North and South America as well as being a daily tool for more than 100 planners.

Thorbjørn Schmidt-Jacobsen, sales manager at Transvision says that the contract is an approval of the quality of the company's solutions, and proof that Transvision has now seriously made a breakthrough on the export markets.

Copenhagen based Transvision supplies IT systems for planning and optimisation of road based distribution and transport. The systems can both be used for tactical planning of transport structure and for daily operational planning. Customers include Statoil, Arla Foods, Posten Sverige, Unicon Beton and Aalborg Portland. The news is reported by Erhvervsbladet.
