The Danish dialogue and web agency Verticportals has achieved success by combining education and entertainment (edutainment). The north Copenhagen based company has developed a standard system for content management which can also be used for e-learning. One of the customers, US company Harman International, plans to use Verticals' product for its 60,000 sales assistants in the near future. Other clients include Motorola, Microsoft, and Codan.

Verticportals was reconstructed in 2002 after the main US shareholder applied for a suspension of payments order. In 2003, Verticportals had a small surplus of DKK 110,000 (USD 17,800). According to director Sebastian Jespersen, the company is expected to generate revenues of DKK 10 million (1.6 million) in 2004. The news is reported by Computerworld online.
