The French venture company IAF has invested DKK 12.5 million (USD 2 million) in the Aarhus based net payment company Ewire. The money will be used for daily operation, marketing and establishment of divisions in Norway and Sweden. Ewire plans to spread into the rest of Europe by the end of 2005. According to Computerworld online which reports the news, IAF will have a 25% share ownership of Ewire.

Ewire offers rapid, secure and free transfer of money via e-mail. 31,000 people currently use the system, a figure expected to increase to 80,000 in a few months.
