Game Trust acquires Danish Core Websystems as its European bridgehead

2004.05.04
New York based Game Trust, the renowned tournament infrastructure company for video games, recently acquired Aarhus company Core Websystems

Core Websystems was founded in 1999 and was acquired for their proven back-end technology used by prominent global companies to help manage their game offerings. The Danish company will function as Game Trust’s bridgehead to the European market and is therefore renamed Game Trust Europe. Apart from taking over the current Danish employees, at least 4 more will be hired to ensure Game Trust Europe’s edge as the company’s European development and sales platform.

Game Trust and Core Websystems have cooperated on developing the Game Frame platform for the past two years. Game Frame is the leading infrastructure available worldwide to deploy and manage large communities of game players and currently supports 15 million players worldwide.

Invest in Denmark has been in contact with Game Trust since 2003 and assisted the company with relevant information and practical assistance regarding entering the Danish market.
