IT company HP achieves 19% growth in revenues in its Danish business  

Last year's growth figure for HP in Denmark was among the best in the whole of Europe

Denmark is one of the countries in Europe where IT company HP achieved the highest growth in the last year. According to Walther Thygesen, senior vice president and general manager for EMEA at HP, the Danish business has being doing well with 19% growth in revenues. On average, other European countries had 13% growth.


Danish revenues increased from DKK 3.2 bn (USD 544 mn) to 3.8 bn (USD 646 mn). The strongest growth was in the business areas: software, servers, PCs and services. The news is reported by Erhvervsbladet.


Two weeks ago HP Denmark established a new business unit, Solution Centre Copenhagen, a competence centre that develops software solutions for configuring and monitoring the network of teleoperators. The new centre will service the entire EMEA region.
