Investment boom in Danish IT companies in Q2

A newly published analysis from the Danish Fund for Industrial Growth and DVCA shows that investments in the Danish IT industry increased by 44% in Q2

A newly published analysis from the Danish Fund for Industrial Growth in collaboration with the Danish Venture Capitalist Association (DVCA) shows that investments in the Danish IT industry increased by 44% to DKK 195 mn (USD 31.2 mn) in Q2 compared to Q1. The investment level in Q2 is the highest of the latest six quarters and a sign of growing market optimism, according to the Danish Fund for Industrial Growth.

 

The new data also shows that 63% of venture companies have plans to increase their IT investments in Q3, the majority of which will be in wireless technology, building of data network, optical components and development of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software.
