Software Innovation receives fresh capital  

The Danish division of Software Innovation has received DKK 45 million from its Norwegian parent company

The Danish division of IT company Software Innovation has received DKK 45 million (USD 7.6 million) in fresh capital from its Norwegian parent company. Frank Høyer Rasmussen, MD of Software Innovation in Denmark, says the money will recreate the company's equity and provide a solid foundation for further development of the business.


According to Frank Høyer Rasmussen, the Copenhagen based division has gained a large number of orders in the last 6 months and came out of Q4 2003 with a surplus. This positive development is expected to continue in 2004. Software Innovation Group is listed on the Oslo Bourse and has a workforce of 650 people in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. Core products include solutions for document and workflow management. The news is reported by Computerworld online.
