Software company Traen increases its turnover by 35%  

The Danish software company increased its turnover by 35% to DKK 23 million in the financial year 2004

The Danish software company Traen is racking up the sales of its document handling systems. In the financial year 2004 which ended 30th June, the company increased its turnover by 35% to DKK 23 million (USD 3.7 million). Traen sells its own document handling software Acadre and is a distributor of software products from the Canadian company Hummingbird.


Kenn Petersen, managing director of Traen is expecting growth to continue with an increase in revenues of 80% this year compared to 2003. The forecast is based on Traen winning a number of new orders, and its position as a subsupplier to consultant and management company Accenture which has won several orders to supply document handling systems in the Danish public sector. Traen is based in Copenhagen and employs 35 people. The news is reported by Computerworld.
