The Danish CMS company has entered a strategic cooperation with IBM on integrating their respective products Synkron.web and WebSphere technology

Synkron has entered a strategic cooperation with IBM on integrating Synkron's CMS (content management system) product Synkron.web with IBM's WebSphere application server technology. Managing director of Synkron, Thomas Marschall says that most web portals have problems with editing and publishing the content of a website, which will be solved with the combined solution from Synkron and IBM.

The new portal solutions are aimed at medium-sized Nordic companies but both parties expect that the cooperation also will strengthen Synkron's position on the international markets. In addition to IBM, Synkron has a marketing agreement with SAP on its Synkron.web system. The news is reported by Computerworld online.
