Trifork becomes first company in Europe to get Java certificate

Trifork is the first company in Europe to be certified by SUN for the latest version of the Java based platform J2EE 1.4 for web services. Trifork, located in Aarhus, Jutland, has invested DKK 7 million in getting the certification, a sum which is expected to be earned in 2-3 years. The company's aim is to become the largest supplier of application servers in Denmark, and the certification is seen as a solid step towards this objective.

 

Trifork is a software and consulting company currently employing 14 people. It was established in July 2000 as a spin-off from Eastfork Object Space (EOS), an Object Oriented Software development company. The news is reported by Computerworld online.
