US based Game Trust acquires Core Websystems  

The New York based company has acquired Core Websystems, a Danish company developing games for online and wireless applications

New York based company Game Trust has acquired Core Websystems which develops gaming solutions for online and wireless applications including server architecture for gaming servers. The acquisition figure has not been disclosed. The two companies have cooperated on developing the game platform Game Frame during the last two years.


Aarhus based Core Websystems will become Game Trust's bridgehead into the European market and is changing its name to Game Trust Europe. Core Websystems has supplied solutions to Danish television channel TV2 and Earthlink Games. Core Websystems is the second game company in Denmark to be sold in recent times - three weeks ago the successful IO Interactive was sold to UK based Eidos for around DKK 250 million (USD 40 million). The news is reported by Computerworld online.
