Webpartner makes Nordic alliance with DCG and Catch

Internet supplier Webpartner has entered an alliance with Sweden's DCG and Norway's Catch to offer firms high-speed internet access across borders

The Copenhagen based internet supplier Webpartner has entered an alliance with the Swedish broadband company DGC and the Norwegian based Catch to offer high-speed internet access and network to companies which work across the Nordic borders. The cooperation has been named Nordic Broadband Services.

 

The connected infrastructure of the three suppliers will be based on Gigabit Ethernet, MPLS and IP technologies and has a capacity to transfer 2.4 Gbit/s between for example Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen. Rasmus Helmich, managing director of Webpartner, says the aim is to make it simple and fast for companies with divisions in the Nordic countries to establish a safe network. The news is reported by Computerworld online.
