Cbrain Technology, a Danish IT company founded in 2002 is planning an IPO on Copenhagen Stock Exchange in Q2 2006. The bourse prospectus has been approved by the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority this week. In the prospectus, Cbrain Technology forecasts that it will grow by 30-50% annually.

Per Tejs Knudsen, chairman of Cbrain Technology comments: "We don't need further capital because we are already generating reasonable profits. We need however the seal of approval of a stock exchange listing". This will help open doors to foreign collaboration partners, customers and potential investors, and thereby pave the way for a global breakthrough, the chairman said.

Cbrain Technology sells IT solutions such as customised web-based products for optimisation of business processes. Customers include Carlsberg, Sonofon, TDC and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Cbrain is based in Copenhagen. The news was reported by financial daily newspaper Børsen.
